This summer has been very difficult for the horses in our area.  Hay prices are forecast to be high and many horses are suffering from the heat and drought.  Please do what you can to help us help the horses.

Urgent Need!

Please keep an eye out for horses in your area.  It takes all of us working together as a community to make a difference.  During these difficult times, people can struggle financially to meet the needs of their horses.  Horses must have grass or quality hay and clean fresh water at all times.  Horses who do not have adequate water can colic and/or become dehydrated and die in the warmer weather.

Consider donating a bale of hay to a neighbor's horse in need or donate hay or money to the sanctuary to help us make it through the summer.  A large round bale is around $50, but anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated!  We feed roughly 4 large round bales of hay per week.

Together we will make a difference in the life of a horse!
