A New Kid on the Block

There's a new kid on the block. I guess he really isn't a kid, he's just a baby. Three week old Outlaw came to the rescue on Friday after his momma passed away. There is a mare who was weaning her own baby at the rescue and she let Outlaw nurse. Now he needs to settle in and get used to his new surroundings. Everyone at MFMN (human and animal) will try to help him feel right at home. I'll be a good big brother and help teach him the ropes as he gets older.

There won't be a second cutting this year because there hasn't been enough rain for it to continue to grow. They're trying to buy hay now before none is available.
