Thank You Volunteers!

Last weekend we had a Volunteer Appreciation Day for all the volunteers who help at the Rescue. Volunteers come out to feed and take care of horses twice a day every single day of the year. Horses need to eat even if it's a holiday. They come and feed us in the pouring rain, when it's really cold and things are covered in snow and ice, and everything in between. They clean stalls and pens and make sure everyone has clean hay and water. They fix things that aren't working around the Rescue. They help with fundraisers to raise money to pay for grain, hay and the care we need. They take horses to new homes, pick up horses that need to leave a place. Help mistreated horses remember how to trust humans again. They just get things done with no complaints. The rescue wouldn't be around without them. Thank you!
